St. Cloud area YMCA event branding & design
Textile was a fantastic partner in our 2019 Promenade Event. They did a masterful job working within our established event brand, while still making our materials fresh and exciting. I hope to work with them again in the future!
When we were given the chance to work with the St. Cloud Area Family YMCA on their premier annual fundraising event, Promenade, we knew it was a great fit for both parties. From a team values perspective, the Textile crew strongly believes in an active, healthy lifestyle, but even more importantly, supporting the YMCA and becoming their event agency meant contributing to a stronger community altogether while making a positive impact for individuals and families.
After our initial project kick-off at the YMCA, we dug into a research and planning phase based on the “South America - Passport Around The World” theme for the 2019 YMCA Promenade event. Specifically, we needed to pull in key cultural and geographic elements centered around Chile and Argentina, as these would be the centerpiece wines featured during the tasting portion of the event. The iconology was carefully chosen to highlight the South American culture, location, and traditions. Unifying the diverse icons included the use of a concise color palette and gradient affect.
Once our research and planning phase was complete, the event branding, color scheme, and iconology work began. While this work was progressing coordination on sponsorship levels and sponsor presence was also happening. Once all elements, logos, icons, and color palette was complete, the design was applied to many different formats for online and print collateral. This included program, save the date, invitation, and poster layout. We took a streamlined approach to updating content while adapting the event design for digital, print, and social media application, presenting the family of assets and collateral for executive and committee review, and revisions.
The colorful and visually rich design brought the pre-event promotions to life, and lended to a festive atmosphere during the event evening. Top tier sponors were thrilled with their individual event signs that tied in both the theme of the evening, while highlighting a wide array of corporate event sponsors.
